Employee Handbook

As the supervisor of the undergraduate gallery attendant program at the Vicki Myhren Gallery at the University of Denver, I created an employee handbook. Originally authored in 2018 and updated yearly during my tenure there.

This guidebook was intended to supplement the university-wide employee handbook, and serve as a space-specific guide to the unique needs and functions of the gallery attendant role.

I created this handbook in my role as Exhibition and Gallery Manager at the University of Denver, while redesigning the scope of the role of the gallery attendant, their training, their continued development as student ambassadors within an academic gallery space. Alongside quarterly trainings and field trips to Denver-area art entities, this handbook served to clarify and inform both incoming and continuing attendants.

Eventually, this guide was adopted by the School of Art and Art History as a blueprint for employee handbooks of other exhibition spaces, which I also helped to author. Preview the beginning pages below, or download the full handbook below.
